Few Days Earlier, we hear that Govt. planning to fix A/C Temperature at 24'C. So we think that the temperature of A/C is 24'C when we buy new A/C. So today we talk about this. Let's start-
Demand for A/C increases every year because it is necessities due to hot temperature in summer and consumer also easily buy it. But A/c consumer more electricity. If A/C demand increases so electricity demand also increases. Sometimes we faces power Fluctuation problem in India in summer.
Sometimes we also do not use A/c in a true manner. Mostly time people fix temperature 16-18'C in India. After few minutes we switch off the A/C because we start felling cold . At 16-18'C A/C consumes more electricity so due this problem we faces power fluctuation problem in summer.
So Govt.decided to fix Default A/C temperature at 24'C. All the manufactures fix the default temperature in his devices. Govt. also did campaign to spread information about this.
So why at only 24'C?
1. Human body temperature at 37-38'C when we came at 18'C temperature it is harmful for our health.
2. Conserve Energy/electricity.
3. No Need to switch On/Off A/C.
4. Best Colling.
It is not first India to fix default A/C temperature -- Japan also fix default temperature at 28'C.

It does not mean that we can not change temperature in A/C. Default A/C temperature mean when we open A/C first time that default temperature is 24'C. Mostly people do not change temperature with the help of remote they mostly switch on /off A/C does not change temperature.
So, due to this most A/C runs on 24'C temperature. in Big Offices or mall we see there are A/C runs on 18-21'C . So Govt. also do mandatory to the big mall or offices to fix default A/c temperature.
