What is eSIM? How its works on new iPhone?

Recently, Apple lauches his Three new iphones like Xs, Xr,Xs Max. In this launch, New Iphones support a new feature. New Iphone supports dual sim standby. But it revealed a new term i.e. eSIM.


Mostly time,we see iphone user uses two phones because iphone not support dual sim.But in this launch Apple launches dual SIM support iphones.

But there is a new term. One SIM is physical card but second SIM is eSIM.

But every operator does not support eSIM they are limited but after time they grow up. But JIO and Airtel supports eSIM in india.

How its work?

1. A Bar code is given by operator after consulting brand about eSIm.

2. Like My jio or Airtel App gives a option of eSIM. And give a bar code.

After scanning bar code in the celluar setting of iphone or configure with the operator to set the eSIM.

After setting eSIM we can also set priority like call or data settings.But it does not support dual Active or dual stand by support.
